Get to know Scott Orin Carter, Attorney
Before he started practicing law, Mr. Carter spent 8 years in business and marketing.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Carter began practicing law in 1995 at Garland and Associates in Hillsboro, Oregon. Two years later, he accepted a position as a Deputy District Attorney in Klamath County under Ed Caleb — a position that he would hold for over seven years.
During his time as a Deputy District Attorney, Mr. Carter taught Criminal Justice at a local community college and served as a Youth Peer Court judge.
Mr. Carter opened his private practice, Scott O Carter PC, in 2006 which focuses on:
- Criminal Law, including DUIs
- Family Law, including divorce, child custody, support modifications, and restraining orders
- Drafting your Will.
An active member of the community
Mr. Carter has volunteered through his church, the Boy Scouts of America, Youth Peer Court, and Citizens for Safe Schools.
Mr. Carter has been practicing law for over 20 years.
